This three-day bus tour is non-refundable $229.99 which includes most meals, lodging, Prestige Bus Charters, and snacks. We have three payment options,

·    OPTION 1--Pay $229.99 in one lump sum to reserve your seat 

·    OPTION 2--Pay $79 by February 20 and remaining $150.99 by April 1

·    OPTION 3 THE BUDGET PLAN--Pay $79 on February 20, $75 by March 20 and $75.99 by April 20

HOFFMAN CHALLENGE 2010 FABRIC:

This year's challenge fabric is now available at the Needle. Turquoise and gold are the primary colors in the 2010 challenge fabric. You can enterin the following award categories:

·    Quilt (appliqué, pieced, or mixed technique)

·    Doll

·    Clothing

·    Accessories

·    Best Use of Sulky Thread

Deadline is July 23, 2010 including Entry Form, Entry Fee, and Quilted Item(s) (read rules for shipping instructions).

We hope that you will consider taking the Hoffman Challenge. Please be sure to thoroughly read the rules and all written copy to better help you plan your Hoffman Challenge project. CELEBRATE NATIONAL QUILTING DAY WITH THE FIFTH ANNUAL RUNNIN' OF THE STRIP:

Saturday, March 20, 9:00 am-5:00pm

 

Gather your friends for a day of fun - visit the three participating shops for prizes, surprises and a free pattern. Pick up strip bundles for the featured quilt at each shop.  Each shop has used the strip bundles with different border fabrics , etc. to make a unique quilt - setting kits will be available. This year's quilt, Southern Comfort, features dusty pastels.  Visit all three shops and be eligible for the grand prizes.

The Needle in a Haystack will be conducting demonstrations throughout the day. Don't let this year's carloads leave without you. Like all fun events, you never know what or who you may see! Each year gets better so be sure you join us March 20, 2010. 

 

NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK QUILT RETREAT:

Friday, Saturday & Sunday August 6, 7 & 8
Flint Oak Resort, South of Fall River, KS

Limited to 25 (If we go over 25, booking a second weekend could become a reality.)
Deposit $50 by March 23

 

This annual Needle in a Haystack event gives you a chance to sew new projects, UFOs, chat with other quilters, learn new techniques, and ask Cynthia questions.  You can expect laughter, sewing, eating, ripping out, inspiration, door prizes, and more food. It is always fun to see what Ann Johnston put in last year's scrapbook; she has quite a collection!

The fun begins on Friday night with a potluck supper, so please bring your dish then. Fees for the weekend include 2 nights lodging and meals Saturday through Sunday lunch. Sleeping quarters options are the Arena House, TBarn or the Lodge.
